Student Life

Student life at MCA is fun, rich, and varied.   In everyday classroom settings the feeling is one of family, camaraderie, and seriousness about learning. For new students, making friends is very rarely difficult, as the small environment and family like atmosphere promote friendship across groups and interests.  Students often have special events to enrich their upper school experiences.

For 6th-8th grades, the Presidential Leadership Council hosts events such as
– movie night
– game night
– Valentine’s dance
– Spring dance (held outside at the pavilion with “pot luck” for food
– Camp fires and hotdog /marshmallow roasts

For 9th-12th grades, the MCA Student Life and MCA Athletic councils also host various events such as
– Senior nights for all sports
– Homecoming
– Sweetheart Dance
– Junior / Senior Prom
– Spring Luau
– Bonfire
– Fall Hoedown

At all MCA extracurricular events, students are expected to act with the same decorum observed at school, meeting proper dress code and always being respectful of others.
