Dr. Roberson was born and raised near Winston-Salem, NC and is married with four daughters. He received his Ph. D. in history from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland, and has one masters degree in English education and one in history along with a double bachelors degree in history and English. He has taught both secondary and higher education including teaching experience on both sides of the Atlantic. At MCA, he currently teaches AP United States History, electives on Narnia and Lord of the Rings, and an integrated humanities course on the history and literature of Europe.
