Mr. Roman has a Bachelor of Science degree in physical education from Winston-Salem State University and finished the Educator Preparation Program in health and physical education at Appalachian State University. Before joining MCA’s faculty, he taught health and physical education in the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools for four years.
Mr. Roman appreciates that classical education involves formation of the whole person and is excited to help students strengthen their bodies, minds, and hearts. He is a talented coach in soccer, volleyball, track, cross country, as well as strength and conditioning. In addition to all these skills, Mr. Roman has a background in theater.
