Regularly throughout the year, our students recite the following pledges depending on their grade level. Our students challenge themselves with these words, reminding themselves of what it takes to be the best student, classmate, and friend that they can be.
For Lower School Students
Because I am a person endowed with worth and value: I will study hard and think well. I will respect others and myself. I will courageously tell the truth, do what is right, and value what is beautiful.
For Upper School Students
Because I am a person endowed with worth and value, I pledge to engage wholeheartedly in my studies, knowing that I am building a foundation of wisdom and virtue. I pledge to think well about what I am learning, to express clearly and kindly what I believe, and to incline my heart and mind toward truth, goodness, and beauty. I pledge to conduct myself honorably; to grant respect to others, recognizing their worth as fellow human beings; to stand courageously for the right; and to lead others to do the same.
