Millennium Charter Academy - What's Happening at MCA

* Basketball season is underway. View the team's schedule.

* The MCA robotics teams, Team Mirus I and II, competed in the State tournament in Greensboro on December 2.
   Both teams scored very well and successfully completed most of their actual robot missions and handled their
   technical, research, and teamwork interviews well. Head coach Mark Spencer won the best Adult Coach and Mentor
   award. Congratulations Mr. Spencer!!!

* The AV team has news files available for viewing on the school network. Please see Mrs. Browne if you need
   assistance accessing the files.

* Second Grade is working hard on their production of "The Jungle Book". This musical is being directed by Brandon
   Hicks, an outstanding teen-age volunteer to MCA. It will be presented to parents on Tuesday evening, January 30,
   2007, at 7 PM.
